About Me

From culinary, to construction, event organization and emceeing...I, Midian Judah, am always hungry to diversify my skillset. I studied front-end web development at Juno College of Technology, alongside other talented davelopers. Prior to web development I was an ESL teacher in South Korea and worked as an assistant manager in the retail industry for around 5 years. I'm excited to make the transition into web development and loved every minute of learning about it. Please feel free to check out my blog to stay updated on my journey through this exciting field.

Bar-One

A dark and moody-looking bar.

A project that put my skills to the test early on in Juno's Bootcamp. This project involved making a multi-page responsive website for a new establishment opening soon in the heart of downtown Toronto. Website was made from a PSD template and is responsive across all devices.

Game Night App

Game app background.

This is an application that uses an API. Users are given a board game based on the parameters they select (ie. number of players, hours of playtime). This app is responsive across all devices.

Music Mirror

Collage with many different musical artists and bands

A project that put my JavaScript skills to the test. This project was made using React and gather's data from the last.fm API and is responsive across all devices. This application allows users to find musicians similar to ones they already listen to.

Word Party

A list of words appended to a page.

Like my previous project, Music Mirror, this application uses an API and, additionally, Firebase. Users are given the ability to input a word into a search box and the API will retrieve words that rhyme with the given word or the users can select the option to to find a synonym for the word they search. Users are also able to create custom lists and save words to this list. This app is responsive across all devices.
